Imagine finding a secret treasure hidden in the dark for over 50 years. Director Baz Luhrmann was making his movie about Elvis Presley when he heard a wild rumor about missing film reels. He sent a team to an old salt mine in Kansas City, and they kicked the door in to find 65 boxes of lost Elvis film. This was real, unseen footage from 1970 that was rotting away. It was the start of an amazing treasure hunt.
The boxes had film, but they had almost no sound at all. Luhrmann had to hire a full-time detective to track down the missing audio clips. The team even bought small pieces of audio from people in dark parking lots on the black market. They also found a super rare tape of Elvis just talking and telling his own life story.
To fix the rotting film, Luhrmann worked with the same team that restored the famous Beatles documentary. They did not use any fake computer tricks to fix it. There is zero AI and zero visual effects in this new film. They just cleaned up the real film frame by frame so it looks amazing.
This huge project turned into a brand new movie called EPiC Elvis Presley Live in Concert. It shows what Elvis was really like behind the scenes. You get to see that Elvis was very funny, kind, and even a little insecure off the stage. On stage, he acted like a god, but behind the curtains, he was just a normal, humble guy.

The official teaser trailer for the movie gives fans exactly what they want to see. It shows Elvis putting on his famous white suit and walking past the curtains.
