So when a video claims he suddenly has a “hate list,” fans should pause.

There does not appear to be a credible interview, official statement, or major outlet confirming that Willie named seven artists he hates.

It means “dislikes someone’s music” and “hates them” are not the same thing.

And that’s not all…

Willie is still active at 93, still touring, recording, and collaborating. Farm Aid recently described him as continuing to perform with the “seasoned wit and wisdom that comes from the road,” while People noted his long career includes more than 105 studio albums, 15 Grammys, and collaborations with artists ranging from Dolly Parton to Snoop Dogg. 

Here’s the truth…

Willie Nelson built his legacy by refusing to be boxed in, not by tearing other artists down.

So if a video promises that sweet old Willie suddenly exposed everyone he hates, it may say more about internet clickbait than it does about Willie.
