If you haven’t been following the rise of Sydnie Christmas, you are missing out on one of the most exciting vocal journeys of the decade. The Britain’s Got Talent winner recently shared an Instagram post that has the entire theatre world buzzing. It’s about an upcoming event that’s more like a historic moment in musical history.
Sydnie is heading to a famous stage in London called the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. She is part of a giant birthday party for a famous composer Maury Yeston. He was the man behind the music for huge movies like Titanic!
This concert, called “To Maury, With Love,” is going to be massive. Imagine Sydnie singing with a giant 30-piece orchestra and a huge choir behind her.
What a lucky girl! What an honour!

The post hints that she might sing songs no one has ever heard before! It’s a “pinch-me” moment for any singer. But Sydnie isn’t just singing for fun. The whole show is a benefit for Bowel Cancer UK, so her big voice is helping a great cause, too.
It’s easy to see why she was picked for such a big London show when you look at what she did across the ocean just a few months ago. Sydnie traveled all the way to California to perform at the world-famous Hollywood Bowl!
In a stunning video from that night, Sydnie performs the classic song “My Way.” She was invited by David Foster, a man who has won 16 Grammy Awards! Watching her stand on that stage is incredible. She starts the song so quietly, but by the end, she is powerful enough to shake the whole stadium. You have to see the look on the crowd’s faces when she hits the big notes!
