A massive donation from country music’s biggest star is set to change the lives of local communities, especially students. His most recent donation is going towards his former high school for a staggering 1.2 million.

Morgan Wallen is proving he is a true blue southern gentleman by donating 1.2 million dollars to his alma mater to upgrade an old baseball field. 

This generous gesture is a way for the superstar to give back to the school that taught him everything while he was growing up. By upgrading the sports facilities, he is directly investing in the future of the town and ensuring local children have the resources they need to thrive.

Morgan Wallen Announces Baseball Field Donation

The donation is currently awaiting state approval. Once cleared, it will be converted into a state of the art, multisports field where students can explore their athletic pursuits to the fullest. 

Gibbs High School in Corryton plans to name the field the “Morgan Wallen Field” in honor of their famous graduate. This cause is incredibly close to his heart as he graduated from the school in 2011 and was a dedicated member of the baseball team himself.

But here is the real deal…

The public school system is in dire straits as districts face budget cuts every year. With overworked teachers and students who desperately need healthy outlets like sports, this is a major step in the right direction.

 This is not the only time he has shown his philanthropic side. In an unprecedented move, Morgan gives three dollars from every concert ticket sold to charity.
