Five Michael Jackson Songs Return to Challenge Drake on Billboard’s Streaming Chart

Most music charts in 2026 are filled with new releases from today’s biggest singers and rappers. Yet Michael Jackson has placed five songs on Billboard’s 25-position R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart. That gives the late King of Pop one-fifth of the entire ranking and leaves him only one appearance behind Drake, one of streaming’s most dominant modern artists.

The biggest surprise comes from two older favorites finding their way back. “Human Nature” returns at No. 15 while “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough” reappears at No. 25. They are songs from different stages of Jackson’s career, but listeners are discovering both again more than four decades after their original releases.

The first video captures the youthful energy that helped establish Jackson as a solo superstar. Its bright sound, sharp rhythm and simple performance style still feel immediately recognizable. The song’s return to a major streaming ranking shows that younger listeners are not only watching his most famous short films. They are moving deeper into the catalog.

Jackson’s other three charting songs are even higher. “Billie Jean” sits at No. 3, “Chicago” reaches No. 7 and “Beat It” lands at No. 8. Drake claims six places in total, but Jackson remains close with recordings created long before the streaming era began.

“Human Nature” provides the perfect second chapter because it recently received a new official video. The release has already attracted millions of views, giving fans a fresh way to experience one of Jackson’s quieter and more emotional recordings. Its chart return suggests the video and renewed attention around his life are helping the song reach another generation.

Michael Jackson is competing against artists working in a music industry that did not exist during his lifetime. Yet “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” “Chicago,” “Human Nature” and “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough” continue finding listeners. Watch both videos below and see why decades-old songs are still standing beside today’s biggest streaming hits.
