Darci Lynne recently decided to find out what happens when a world-class ventriloquist takes her most mischievous puppet to the most magical place on Earth, and the results are exactly as chaotic as you’d imagine.
In her latest adventure, Darci heads to the massive Harry Potter store in New York City, and she brings along a very special guest: Andy. Right from the start, it’s clear that Andy isn’t exactly “wizarding material.” Between his hilarious struggle with a revolving door and his overconfident claim that he’d survive the Triwizard Tournament, he’s a handful for poor Darci.
The chemistry between these two is effortless. While Darci tries to enjoy the immersive decor, Andy is busy getting “plastered” on non-alcoholic Butterbeer and picking fights with a life-sized Voldemort statue.
There’s even a heated debate about which Hogwarts house Andy belongs to… though Darci’s answer might hurt his pride a little. You really have to see his reaction to believe it.

The fun doesn’t stop with Andy’s antics, however. Looking back at her other visits to the Wizarding World, it is clear to see how Darci is such a massive Potterhead. On a different day at the store, she decided to ditch the puppet and let her own vocal talents take center stage.
The transition is seamless. One minute, she’s wrangling a puppet on a scooter. The next, she’s proving she’s such a fan by transforming her voice into some of our favorite characters.

Darci’s vocal range is pure magic whether she’s playing a pitch-perfect Luna Lovegood to a stern Professor McGonagall. She even manages to make a Dobby plushie talk, and it’s honestly impressive how much she sounds like the real deal.
