To get everyone excited, Neil just released the album’s lead single, also called “Wild At Heart.” It is a very fun song that sounds a little bit like country music. When you listen to it, you can’t help but tap your toes!

This album isn’t just a bunch of new songs; it is a treasure chest from the past. Back in 2007, Neil was working with a famous music producer named Rick Rubin. During their time together, they wrote way too many songs. Since they made a lot of music, they only released some of it, while some was tucked away! Now, Neil went through those unreleased songs, reworked them, finished them, and made an album out of them!
Neil showed us the story and work behind his new album in the album trailer! In it, we see “Young Neil” from twenty years ago working in the studio. It is like a time machine! You can see him and Rick Rubin laughing as they refine the songs to perfection.
Neil even joked that he was writing songs so fast back then that he was even coming up with ideas while eating a sandwich at a deli!
