Inside Sydnie Christmas’s Wild NYC Studio Session

Ever wondered what actually happens before a star hits that final, perfect note on stage? We usually only see the glitz and the glamour. But for Sydnie Christmas, the real magic is hidden behind the soundproof glass of a recording studio.

In a recent peek behind the curtain, Sydnie takes us inside her “happy place.” It’s a world filled with glowing fairy lights, tangled headphone cords, and a whole lot of laughter. She calls it “the madness,” and it is absolutely infectious. There’s no sound of polished music here. What we get is the raw reality of an amazing vocalist at work.

Sydnie Christmas | Crazy days in the studio

@sydniechristmas

Crazy days in the studio 🥴😂 The studio is my place to play, Be awful, Be good, mess up, create, most importantly experiment… This is usually my process when creating cool versions 🥹 I love making my own versions of songs as you all know. This is one I prepared especially for my Headlines shows in NYC. I’ll post a video of the finished product soon. But first. The madness. 😘

For her, the studio isn’t just about getting it right. It’s a playground. She’s seen diving deep into a “bluesy” new version of a classic anthem, specifically tailored for her big shows in New York City. There are moments where she hits a note so big she jokes about giving herself a headache, and others where she stops entirely to laugh at a “cringy” face she made.

It’s a beautiful reminder that even the best in the business have to be “awful” before they can be great.

This fearless approach to music isn’t new for her. If you look back at her journey, that spark has always been there. Long before the studio sessions in NYC, there was a girl with a dream and a bedroom microphone.

Sydnie Christmas – Singing Titanium

Watching her early cover of “Titanium” feels like discovering a hidden treasure map. Even a decade ago, her voice had that signature grit and power. Back then, it was just Sydnie and her raw talent, proving she was bulletproof before the world even knew her name.

The transition from that ambitious teenager to the professional artist we see today is nothing short of inspiring.

Sydnie is 100% herself, no matter where she is. Her authenticity shines through. It’s that blend of world-class talent and down-to-earth humor that makes her so special. From those early bedroom covers to her big studio dreams, the “madness” has always been part of the masterpiece.
